How it works · Gifting a BADA charter

Three small steps to give a day at sea.

    Choose a day, or leave it open.

    You can gift a specific charter (Sail Rock, Ang Thong, or any of the six destinations), or you can gift an open voucher that the recipient redeems for any day within twelve months. Minseo adjusts if their preferences differ from yours.

    Add a note.

    Minseo prints a physical card on quality paper with your personal note, hand-signs it, and ships it to the recipient's address (anywhere in the world). Or you can request a digital delivery — a PDF with the same text, designed editorially, sent by email on a date you choose.

  3. 03

    They redeem when ready.

    The recipient writes to Minseo directly when they are ready to book. The gift voucher is valid for twelve months from purchase. Weather-cancelled days reschedule without expiring the voucher.

Physical delivery

A card in an envelope.

A folded card on heavy stock. The outside bears the BADA wordmark and the 바다 character. Inside, your message is printed in a mono serif, followed by Minseo's hand-signed name. The card includes a sealed reservation voucher and instructions for the recipient to redeem.

Shipped by tracked post anywhere in the world. Five to fourteen business days depending on destination. Included at no additional cost for gifts above 40,000 THB.

Digital delivery

An email that arrives on the morning.

A PDF — typeset the same as the physical card, with your message and Minseo's signature scanned at the bottom. Delivered by email on the exact date you choose (a birthday morning, an anniversary, a retirement day).

What is a BADA gift charter?
A BADA gift charter is a voucher for a private freediving day on the Gulf of Thailand from Koh Samui, led by Minseo (PADI Master Freediver). The recipient chooses their own date within twelve months and books any BADA trip — Sail Rock, Ang Thong, Koh Tao, Koh Nang Yuan, Koh Phangan, or Koh Mat Sum.
How much does a BADA gift charter cost?
Gift vouchers start at 25,000 THB (Koh Mat Sum) and go up to 42,000 THB (Koh Tao or Koh Nang Yuan). The most-gifted options are the Sail Rock Day (35,000 THB) and the Ang Thong Crossing (38,000 THB). Open-value vouchers are also available from 25,000 THB, redeemable against any charter.
How long is a BADA gift voucher valid?
Twelve months from the purchase date. If weather cancels a booked date the voucher is extended automatically — a weather cancellation never burns the voucher. Recipients book by writing directly to Minseo on WhatsApp or email.
Can I give a specific trip or an open voucher?
Both. You can gift a specific charter (Sail Rock, Ang Thong, or any of the six destinations), or an open-value voucher that the recipient redeems against any trip. Minseo adjusts if the recipient's preferences differ from the day you originally chose.
How is the gift delivered to the recipient?
Two options. Physical: a folded card on heavy stock, hand-signed by Minseo, with your personal message and the sealed voucher, shipped by tracked post anywhere in the world (5 to 14 business days). Digital: a PDF designed the same as the physical card, delivered by email on a date you choose. Shipping is included on gifts above 40,000 THB.
What if the recipient cannot use the gift?
The recipient can transfer the voucher to someone else within the twelve-month window. If a booked day is cancelled for weather, the voucher extends to match. BADA does not offer cash refunds on gift vouchers, but Minseo will work with the recipient to find a workable date.
